Hestco was formed in 1946 by the Hester brothers in Blenheim, New Zealand. Skilled craftsmen, the Hester brothers built a strong and reputable company that focused on producing high quality brass based architectural hardware for domestic and commercial clients. In 1981, the Bruce McKendry family purchased the business and has since grown the company into an important New Zealand supplier of brass products.

Most products are made from brass extrusions which give continuous quality and continuity of shape and size.
